Adult Queer and Trans Inclusive Yoga
Queer and Trans Inclusive (QTI) Yoga is a class for Queer and Trans identifying individuals to find a comfortable space to practice yoga for any reason that brings them to their mat and find a community to support their yoga journey. This will include poses that are mindful of dysphoria and inclusive language.
Taught by Michi (they/them), a registered 200hr yoga teacher that emphasizes energy work and trauma based healing in their classes. Class will meet every Saturday at 1pm for adults. Teens, ages 14-18, can check out the group that meets immediately after at 2:15.
$5/class or $40/10 class pass. The class will meet in the fellowship hall of the Denton Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Money raised goes to OUTreach Denton, who will use the funds toward a trans inclusive fundraiser. ical export outlook export
