Did you know: You can list up to 5 awards on the Common Application, and which awards you choose to list can make or break your application? Though extracurricular activities are the second most important part of your college application, you only have about 30 words to describe each activity? Your citizenship and parents’ place of birth could have an impact on your admissions decision? You can explain an illness or poor academic performance on the last section of the Common App? You are about to embark on an arduous adventure: filling out your Common Application to apply to college. It’s more than just filling out a few forms — it’s telling your life story, describing your extracurricular activities concisely but effectively, and writing a reflective personal statement. Don’t know where to start? The college admissions experts at Crimson can help. Join us for this deep dive into each section of the Common App, and how to complete it to MAXIMIZE your chances of admission to any school, whether reach, match, or safety. Ask any question of our college admissions experts and get personalized guidance on your college application. The last part of the talk will focus on supplements to the Common App – how to navigate them and what is important on each supplement, whether they ask about your favorite book or for 3 more essays.   Reserve your place now, as seats are limited! ____________________________________________________________________________ Profiles of Featured Speakers:  Ed Paranjpe - Duke University Ed Paranjpe studied Economics and Finance at Duke University.
